Mari's Place For The Arts

Volunteer to Instruct

Our all volunteer Instructor Corps provides life enriching experiences for both the students and the instructors.  Each instructor has a demonstrated ability in the subject they are leading and a passion to share their knowledge and skills with the younger set.  Classes are kept small to allow lots of one on one interaction and the format is much more free flowing than traditional classrooms.

If you would love to see the children flourish and develop in your area of accomplishment and can give the time to lead at least one class of one hour per week for a 3 month school quarter, we invite you to apply for a position with us.  We are pleased to have a group of instructors that vary in age, subject expertise, and experience and are always looking for people to help both with the existing classes, or perhaps a new and different class.  If you would like to propose a new class subject, we invite you to complete the class proposal form and share your ideas with us.

Mari’s Place is designed to allow even the lowest of income households to fully participate.  Thus, all the materials for each class are provided for the students. If you are proposing a new class, or would like to use some special materials for an existing offering, please use the proposal form and we will make every attempt to find the funds to provide that.

Again, we are looking to provide a wide range of subjects for the children, so if the one you are interested in is not on our current schedule, it may well be that we do have supplies etc. for it, just haven’t had either the instructor or the student interest.  Let’s talk about it and see what we can do.

Please use the links below to apply for a position or propose a class offering.

Note: All instructors are required to have a background check through the Everett Police Department.
